Exploring questions before searching for answers.
Research is where I continue to deepen my understanding of what it means to be human.
I explore how our inner world influences wellbeing, relationships and sustainable performance - bringing together scientific evidence, lived experience and practical application.

Why i research
At the heart of my research is one increasingly important question:
How might we become better at recognising, understanding and responding to the language of our own human system?
That question continues to shape both my doctoral research and the wider body of work I am developing.
For me, research isn’t simply about finding answers.
It’s about asking better questions.
Questions I’m exploring
My research explores the interconnected themes that influence how we live, work and relate to one another.
Stress & Recovery
Understanding how stress impacts our systems and how recovery restores capacity and resilience.
Sleep & Restoration
Exploring the role of restorative sleep in cognitive, emotional and physical functioning.
Relationships & Connection
Investigating how connection, communication and belonging influence wellbeing and performance.
Self-Awareness & Human Functioning
Examining how self-awareness and regulation shape the way we think, feel and act.
Sustainable Performance
Exploring what truly supports long-term performance for individuals and teams.
Doctoral Research
My doctoral research explores how accessible, ritual-based wellbeing practices may support more sustainable human functioning and performance.
It examines the role of everyday practices in supporting regulation, recovery and meaningful change - bringing together scientific evidence, lived experience and practical application.
The research may also deepen our understanding of how greater awareness of the human system could contribute to healthier lives, stronger relationships and more sustainable performance.
As the research develops, I'll continue sharing reflections and insights throughout the journey.

The ideas shared here continue to evolve through writing, research and practice. if something you’ve read has prompted a question, a reflection or simply a different way of seeing, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
